I have been living at Country Lakes for just over 2 years, and I have enjoyed it for the most part. Unfortunately, as with any place I have lived, there will be an occasional frustration. I figure at the length of time I've been here, that is bound to happen. I have a 2 bedroom, which is very large. It was one of the largest I was able to find for a good price, that was still nice. I enjoy the extras the complex offers. I use the pool and the dog park most, but it is good to know I have the ability to use the other facilities if I choose a new hobby. My balcony has great views of the mountains to the East, and being a single Miss, I have much appreciation for the gated access. I have a friend who lives here as well, and while I opted for the lower price 2 bedroom without the upgrades, which is still very nice. She has a gorgeous upgraded apartment with wood like floors. We enjoy that both our dogs were welcomed because she has a larger lab and had a hard time finding somewhere that allowed over 25 pounds. So we get to get my little pooch and her big girl together at the dog park to release some energy, and we recently discovered there is a cute little dog treat jar in the office, so of course, Diesel and I have to stop in on occasion for his snack. When it comes to renting, if you don't have time for a yard like me, and the other "benefits" that are also responsibilities, it's nice to know you can still have the "dream" of a pet that can play without being cooped up permanently. All in all, I am happy in my humble abode and we truly enjoy everything that comes along with it. As long as my little "ankle biter" is welcome here, I will gladly plan on staying for awhile.
